Sheffield Utd v Newcastle - Premier League - 19:30

Sheffield United continue flying, and I see them edging-out Newcastle at Bramall Lane on Thursday.

The Magpies have been undeniably impressive at home, but four defeats from their last five away games will have Chris Wilder licking his lips – particularly because they’ve only scored in one of the last four.

United, unbeaten in seven, have picked up seven points from their last three home games against Arsenal, Burnley and Manchester United, so my money is with them.

Arsenal v Brighton - Premier League - 20:15

Both teams to score in Arsenal v Brighton also looks solid.

The Gunners are winless in eight games, and have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League at home – against Bournemouth.

Brighton, despite losing three in-a-row against Man Utd, Leicester and Liverpool, have found the net in six of their last seven matches, and will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run against Arsenal to four games.

Gremio v Cruzeiro - Brazilian Serie A - 22:15

Finally, for added value, I’ve delved into the Brazilian top division, where I expect Gremio to beat Cruzeiro at home.

With eight wins from their last 11 home games, Gremio currently sit 4th in the table, and a victory on Thursday will hugely aid their Copa Libertadores qualification push.

Cruzeiro, on the other hand, are in grave relegation danger, and three straight defeats—as well as just one goal scored in their last six matches—should see them fall to a very good Gremio side.
