Tuesday's Championship treble is priced at 7/1!
Nottingham Forest v Middlesbrough - 19:45
Though they’ve won just one of their last four league games, Nottingham Forest look good value to beat Middlesbrough at home.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side are 5th with the joint-second-best defence in the league, and this is key in my thought process.
That’s because Boro are abysmal on the road—earning just four points all season on their travels—but more importantly, they’ve failed to score in three of their last four of these away games.
If Forest do get their noses in front, it may well be game over.
Charlton v Huddersfield - 19:45
Although Charlton are above Huddersfield and playing a home, I’m picking the Terriers in this huge basement clash.
The Addicks are in absolute free-fall after a great start to the season, amassing just two points from their last eight league matches.
Huddersfield are winless in five, but during this run they’ve faced Preston, Birmingham, Swansea, Bristol City and Huddersfield; on the flip side, Charlton have recently lost to Luton and Middlesbrough, who are two of the weakest sides in the league.
At this price, Huddersfield are worth backing.
Bristol City v Millwall - 19:45
Bristol City and Millwall both have a 70% BTTS-rate in the league this season (the joint-highest in The Championship), and this is exactly the outcome I envisage for when they meet at Ashton Gate.
Millwall have only failed to score twice away from home all season, and they will certainly cause the Robins plenty of bother with their physicality.
However, City are unbeaten at home since the opening day, so I’d be amazed if they didn’t find the net themselves.
