Finish the week on a high with this 10/1 four-fold!
Getafe v Valladolid - La Liga - 11:00
Getafe’s excellent form has seen them fly into the Champions League qualifying places, and I expect them to beat Real Valladolid to kick-off Sunday’s acca.
The home side have won their last four in all competitions, as well as three of their last four on home soil.
As for Valladolid, they’re winless in their last four (as well as their last four on the road), and considering Getafe have kept four clean sheets in their last five, there is only one winner in my eyes.
Osnabruck v Dynamo Dresden - 2. Bundesliga - 12:30
Newly-promoted Osnabruck have been excellent in the German second-tier this season, and I’m backing them to continue this run against struggling Dynamo Dresden.
The hosts, unbeaten in seven, have claimed maximum points in three of their last four league matches, which has seen them climb to 5th.
Dresden, on the other hand, are rock bottom of the table, and have lost seven of their last nine.
The value is very much with Osnabruck.
Schalke 04 v Eintracht Frankfurt - Bundesliga - 17:00
Moving up a division, I like the look of Schalke beating Eintracht Frankfurt.
As well as playing in the Europa League on Thursday, Eintracht have lost five of their six away games this season – which is the perfect storm for another defeat against a very good Schalke outfit.
David Wagner’s men are currently 4th in the Bundesliga, and have won three of their last five, although it’s the visitors’ poor away form which is the real kicker here.
Sevilla v Villarreal - La Liga - 17:30
Returning to Spain, my final pick in this four-fold is for Sevilla to beat Villarreal at home.
Villarreal are sinking like a stone—unsurprising when you earn two points from your last six games—and things don’t get any easier as they travel to Seville.
There are no such problems for Julen Lopetegui, whose Sevilla side are unbeaten in eight (with five victories). They have also won four of their last five on home soil, which is why they’ve very much taken my fancy.
