Get stuck into this 9/1 treble for Saturday's Premier League action!
Aston Villa v Southampton
Aston Villa v Southampton looks a solid BTTS candidate.
Both teams have found the net in 71% of The Saints’ league games, and while they are generally a poor side, they have found the net in every single away game since the opening day – despite travelling to Arsenal, Wolves, Man City and Spurs.
As for Villa, only West Ham have prevented them from scoring at home, and with neither defence looking particularly clever either, BTTS is certainly the value bet.
Norwich v Wolves
Next, I’m backing Wolves to beat Norwich at Carrow Road.
The Canaries have lost five of their last seven at home, and although Wolves have drawn five of their eight on the road (winning two and losing one), the performances have been there for Nuno’s side, and they’re so superior to Norwich in terms of quality I do think they are worth backing at evens.
Norwich have conceded at least twice in their last seven home games, which is simply unsustainable, and I expect them to become unstuck on Saturday against the excellent visitors.
Brighton v Sheffield Utd
I don’t normally back draws, but a stalemate between Brighton and Sheffield United looks absolutely nailed-on.
Incredibly, the Blades are still unbeaten on the road, with six draws from their eight away games – beating only Norwich and Everton.
As for the Seagulls, only Leicester and Southampton have beaten them at The Amex, although the Saints defeat was largely down to a Florin Andone red card when the hosts were in total control at the half-hour mark.
There’s little to separate these two, and considering how hard Albion and United are to beat home and away respectively, a draw is worth throwing in at 11/5.
