Back Sunday's EFL treble at 4/1!
West Brom v Middlesbrough - Championship
West Brom’s formidable home record should see them beat Middlesbrough on Sunday.
The Baggies are unbeaten The Hawthorns (winning three of their last four), while Boro are winless on the road, having lost over half of their matches.
There’s a serious gulf in class between these two sides, and it’ll show this weekend.
Preston v Reading - Championship
Speaking of home prowess, I fancy Preston to edge past Reading at home.
Only Bristol City, Leeds and West Brom have prevented Preston from winning at Deepdale, while no side have scored more at home than Alex Neil’s men.
Reading have certainly improved of late, but they’ve only scored 11 in their 11 away games, and Preston’s excellence in their own back yard should render 19/20 for a home win very backable.
Plymouth v Stevenage
Finally, I have Plymouth beating Stevenage at Home Park.
The hosts have won their last four home matches—scoring 11 and conceding just one—and they’re a good price to beat bottom side Stevenage.
The visitors are winless on the road this season, and while they’ve drawn their last three, just five goals on the road is not a particularly pretty return.
In my eyes, Plymouth should be a fair bit shorter than 4/5.
