Huddersfield v Stoke - Championship

Huddersfield v Stoke is a huge game at the bottom of The Championship, and it’s the Terriers who I’m backing to emerge with all three points.

Stoke has lost their last four away games—and nine of their 12 on the road in total—which makes their favouritism a little strange.

Danny Cowley’s men are in fairly good form, having won three of their last five, as well as their last two at home. The fact Huddersfield have lost just one of their last nine at home (against Leeds), should give them the edge against a Stoke side who are abysmal travellers.

AFC Wimbledon v Southend

Speaking of abysmal travellers, I expect Southend to lose against AFC Wimbledon.

The visitors have lost 17 of their 23 league matches, and have a grand total of five away points all campaign.

Wimbledon have won four of their last six at home, making 11/10 for another very generous.

Wimbledon - 1pt @ 11/10

Doncaster v Oxford - League One

Finally, I have Oxford beating Doncaster on the road.

Oxford are an outstanding side, and with three league victories on-the-trot coming into this, they’re very much worth backing at 15/8.

The U’s beat Donny 3-0 back in October, and Darren Moore’s side have since been incredibly inconsistent, most recent losing at home against a pretty ropey Sunderland side.

The value lies firmly with the visitors.
