Start your weekend right with this 3/1 Friday double!
Valladolid v Leganes - La Liga - 18:00
There’s not an awful lot of football to get stuck into on Friday, but there is value to be found in Spain.
First up, I have Real Valladolid beating Leganes at home.
The visitors have picked up only three points from their eight away games this season—failing to score in four of their last six—which gives them the second-worst away record in the division.
Valladolid have only won two of their eight at home (losing just once to Sevilla), but they’ve had some really tough matches, yet have still held Valencia, Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid to draws in recent weeks.
The hosts have been competitive all season at Estadio José Zorrilla, and 31/18 for them to beat a Leganes side who are atrocious on the road looks like a solid bet.
Extremadura v Alcorcon - Segunda Division - 18:00
My second pick is in the Spanish second division, where I’m backing an Alcorcon victory/draw double chance as they head to Extremadura.
Not only are Alcorcon six points above Extremadura in the table, but they’re unbeaten away from home all season.
The hosts, on the other hand, have won just two of their ten at home, which leads me to believe the visitors are very well placed to claim a result on Friday.
