Valencia v Real Madrid - Spanish Super Cup - 19:00

Wednesday’s Cup double starts in Saudi Arabia, where Valencia face Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup, and I’m backing a Valencia win/draw double chance.

Real have won just four of their last 12 league matches against Valencia, who conceded a last-minute equaliser against Zinedine Zidane’s men just before Christmas in the league.

Furthermore, Valencia have lost just one of their last 12 in all competitions, while Los Blancos have won just a one of their last four in La Liga.

Leicester v Aston Villa

Returning to these shores, I’m backing Leicester to beat Aston Villa with a -1 handicap in their Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg.

Brendan Rodgers will be desperate to gain a sizeable first-leg lead in this one; Villa’s growing injury list and woeful away form makes the Foxes big favourites ahead of Wednesday’s clash.

Dean Smith’s men have lost six of their last eight away games in all competitions, while Leicester have won eight of their last 10 at the King Power – five by at least two goals.

The Foxes to win this by at least two goals is worth backing.
