Tuck into Thursday's treble at 4/1!
MC Alger v ES Setif - Algerian 1st Division - 16:00
There isn’t a great deal of football on Thursday, but there is a fixture in Algeria that’s tickled my fancy: MC Alger to beat ES Setif at home.
The hosts have been building some solid momentum at home - where they've won three of their last five - while Setif have the worst away record, earning just one point from their seven matches.
3/5 for the MC Alger to kick-off this acca looks a good bet.
Barcelona v Atletico Madrid - Spanish Super Cup - 19:00
Next, I’m backing under 2.5 goals as Barcelona face Atletico Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup.
Two of the last 10 meetings between these two sides have seen under three goals scored, and considering 19 of Atleti’s 25 games in all competitions have also seen under 2.5 goals, I’m very confident this’ll be another nip-and-tuck affair.
Torino v Genoa - Coppa Italia - 20:15
Finally, I expect Torino to beat Genoa in the Coppa Italia.
Torino have had the better of this fixture in recent years—winning their last four matches against Genoa—and they look good to repeat the trick this time around.
The visitors have the worst away record in Serie A, and while the nature of this fixture means things are a little more unpredictable, Torino’s passable recent results—where they’ve won three of their last five matches, most recently a 2-0 away win against Roma—suggest they’ll have enough to progress.
