Rennes are absolutely flying in Ligue 1, and I expect them to continue their excellent form away at Nimes on Wednesday.
The visitors, who are 3rd in the league, have claimed maximum points in seven of their last nine league games—keeping clean sheets in four of their last five—and I only expect this to carry on.
Nimes, who are in the relegation zone, have lost six of their last eight in the league (including two of their last three at home), so at 11/8 Rennes are very much the value pick.
SD Huesca v Tenerife - Spanish Segunda - 18:00
In the Spanish second division, I have Huesca beating Tenerife on home turf.
Huesca, who are currently 4th, possess the best home record in the entire league: claiming victory in eight of their 11 games at Estadio El Alcoraz.
Tenerife, who are down in 18th, have tasted defeat in three of their last four on the road—beating only Sporting Gijon, who had a man sent off at 0-0 after 55 minutes—and with this in mind, I’m confident Wednesday’s fixture is very much Huesca’s to lose.
