Thursday's globe-trotting treble pays at 4/1!
USM Alger v JS Kabylie - Algerian 1st Division - 17:45
There’s plenty of variety for Thursday’s acca, and we start in Algeria, where I have USM Alger beating JS Kabylie.
The hosts are currently two points and two places above the visitors in the league, but it’s the respective home and away records of the sides which is of most interest.
Alger have the best home record in the entire division—winning six of their seven on home soil, drawing the other—and this should prove the difference. Furthermore, Kabylie have tasted defeat in three of their last five on the road, so while both teams are close in the table, it’s well worth backing Alger at home.
WAC Casablanca v HUSA Agadir - Moroccan 1st Division - 18:00
Hopping West to Morocco, I expect WAC Casablanca to claim the points against HUSA Agadir.
Agadir are second-bottom of the division, with just a single point from their last six league outings – not to mention four consecutive away defeats.
As for WAC, they are currently sitting second, and with victories in seven of their last nine league games, so they are very much the value, despite the short price.
Almeria v Oviedo - Spanish Segunda - 20:00
Finally, on slightly more familiar shores, I’m tipping Almeria to beat Real Oviedo in the Spanish Segunda.
Second-place Almeria have been scoring goals for fun this season—netting 39 times, five more than anyone else—while Oviedo, sitting perilously above the drop zone, have the second-leakiest defence.
Oviedo have also lost seven of their 11 away games, so I feel Almeria’s goalscoring prowess will see them over the line.
