Thursday's treble shoots at 5/1!
Asteras Tripolis v Panionios - Greek Super League - 15:15
My Thursday treble begins in Greece, where I’m backing Asteras Tripolis to beat Panionios at home.
Neither side have been impressive whatsoever this season, but it’s Asteras, who are six points above the visitors, who still have a significant edge.
The hosts have won back-to-back home games coming into this, and have only tasted defeat (against Olympiakos while down to 10 men) once in their last six at Theodoros Kolokotronis Stadium.
As for Panionios, they’ve lost their last seven league games—as well as six of their last seven away from home—so this is certainly a result I’m confident about.
AS Beziers v USL Dunkerque - French National League - 19:00
I look at the French National League next, where Dunkerque look a decent price to beat AS Beziers.
Dunkerque are sitting pretty at the top of the division, and with three away wins from their last four, I believe they could be a very shrewd pick.
Beziers, on the other hand, have lost back-to-back home games—conceding seven goals—and considering they have the joint-worst defence in the league, who come up against the most potent attack, I like 7/5 for an away win.
Wolves v Liverpool - Premier League - 20:00
Finally, I believe Liverpool are a backable price against Wolves.
The Reds have won their last three league games against Nuno’s men without conceding a single goal, and judging by the mood they’ve been in this season, a repeat wouldn’t surprise anyone.
Of course, Wolves are the sort of side who are capable of upsetting the applecart, but Liverpool now have an air of invincibility around them, and their defence—which hasn’t conceded in seven matches—will back themselves to register yet another shut-out, winning the game in the process.
