Bengaluru v Hyderabad FC - Indian Super League - 14:00

There’s not a whole lot of tempting football to bet on this Thursday, but the double I’ve identified still looks solid value.

First up, I have Bengaluru beating Hyderabad FC with a -2 handicap.

Not only have the hosts kept clean sheets in five of their seven home games, but they’ve also won five of their last six – scoring 13 in the process.

The visitors have earned just three points from their last 11 games in the league, although on the road they’re pointless, conceding 20 goals.

This is shaping up to be a huge victory for the home side.

Hamburg v FC Nurnberg - 2. Bundesliga - 19:30

In a slightly more familiar league, I’m backing Hamburg to beat Nurnberg on home soil.

Before their surprising defeat to Heidenheim just before the winter break, Hamburg had won their previous six at home—scoring 18 and conceding three—and I believe the lay-off will be beneficial in their quest to return to winning ways at home.

The visitors have been bizarrely woeful all season, and three defeats in their four on the road prior to the winter break, against Aue, Bochum and Stuttgart, will be of great interest to Hamburg.

Hamburg have won their last four matches against Nurnberg, and I see no reason why this run won’t continue.
