Friday's European treble shoots at 6/1!
Duisburg v Braunschweig - 3. Liga - 18:00
Duisburg are flying in the 3. Liga, and I fancy them to beat promotion contenders Eintracht Braunschweig on Friday.
The hosts have been formidable at home—winning eight of their 10 at home all season—and I’m hoping this form carries over.
Braunschweig, despite their decent position in the table, have only won three games since September 1st, and a 4-1 hammering at 1860 Munich in their last away games gives me confidence Duisburg get the job done here.
Ajaccio v Auxerre - Ligue 2 - 19:00
Next, I believe Ajaccio are great value to beat Auxerre in Ligue 2.
The hosts have won three of their last four league matches, and they’ll fancy extending their 15-point lead over Auxerre on Friday.
The away side have tasted defeat in four of their last five on the road, and have also netted just once in their last six away games.
Heracles v Fort Sittard - Eredivisie - 19:00
Finally, I have Heracles beating Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands.
The home side, while winless in six, have won five of their last seven home games (losing only to strong Utrecht and Feyenoord sides), and this prowess should serve them well against a very weak Fortuna outfit.
With six defeats from their last eight on the road—conceding 26 in the process—Fortuna will be lucky to get anything from this, and I suspect they won’t.
