St. Etienne, on the other hand, have tasted defeat in six of the last seven in the league, and four consecutive away defeats fills me with confidence that Montpellier win this.

Lugo have lost four of their last five in the Spanish second division, and this downturn in form has come at the worst possible time as they welcome in-form Elche.

Only two sides have earned more points than Elche over the last six matches, and the visitors will be buoyed by their consecutive victories-to-nil ahead of this game.

Both teams have very different ambitions this season, but Elche’s momentum, coupled with Lugo’s struggles, should justify backing the away side at this generous price.

Cosenza v Benevento - Serie B - 20:00

Benevento are romping to the Serie B title, and they’re worth backing against lowly Cosenza.

Unbeaten at home, with nine wins from their 12 matches, Benevento are well worth their 16-point lead at the top of the table, and I find it a little bizarre they’re odds-against on Saturday.

Cosenza have lost four in-a-row, and they’ll lose again to a fantastic Benevento outfit.
