Friday's treble comes in at 5/1!
St Pauli v Dymano Dresden - 2. Bundesliga - 17:30
Let’s start in the German second division, where I fancy St. Pauli against Dynamo Dresden at home at 19/20.
The visitors have been rotten all season, and just three away points all season is a serious cause for concern. They’ve also failed to score in their last three on the road, which is precisely why they’re bottom of the league.
St. Pauli are in relegation danger themselves, but they have picked up seven points from their last three home games (despite facing Stuttgart and Arminia Bielefeld, who are both in the top three), and this proficiency in their own back yard will enable them to win this crucial relegation scrap.
Excelsior v AZ Youth - Dutch Eerste Divisie - 19:00
Hopping over to the Dutch second-tier, I like the look of Excelsior beating AZ Youth.
Excelsior are in poor form, and are winless in three at home (albeit against strong opposition), but their previous nine at Excelsior Stadium yielded seven victories.
In my eyes, they’re a strong bet to beat a AZ Youth side who have picked up just two points from their last 11 on the road – conceding 27 times during this period.
FC Bastia Borgo v Boulogne - French National League - 19:00
Finally, in the French National League, I fancy Boulogne against FC Bastia-Borgo.
Boulogne have won their last four league matches—and are now unbeaten in eight—which has pushed them up to 5th in the league.
They’ve also won three and drawn one of their last four on the road, so plenty is in their favour.
It’s not so rosy for Bastia-Borgo, who have just a single league win since September and have lost three of their last five at home.
