Back Tuesday's treble at 8/1!
Motherwell v St Mirren - Scottish Premiership - 19:45
In the Scottish Premiership, Motherwell, who are still 3rd, have failed to win in five league games, but their home fixture against St. Mirren is where I see this drought ending.
St. Mirren have the worst away record in the division—losing 10 of their last 13 on the road—and prior to Motherwell’s sticky spell in the league, they won six of their last eight, and at evens I still believe the hosts are backing.
Albion Rovers v Cowdenbeath - Scottish League Two - 19:45
Going down to Scottish League Two, I think Albion Rovers are massive value at home against Cowdenbeath.
Despite the hosts being below Cowdenbeath in the table, their home record is still strong, and I really do fancy them at 8/5. Four wins from seven at home is an admirable return for a side fighting relegation, but Cowdenbeath’s away form (one point from their last six on the road) should vindicate this selection.
Chelsea v Bayern Munich - Champions League - 20:00
Finally, in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge, I fancy Bayern to beat Chelsea in their first-leg.
Though Chelsea beat a wretched Spurs side in their last game at the Bridge, the Blues’ home form in the league is still poor—with four defeats from their last eight—and Bayern are still more than good enough to get a very good result, particularly because they scored 16 away goals in their three Champions League away games against Spurs, Olympiakos and Red Star this season.
Bayern’s away record in the Bundesliga is just as good as their home record, and 10 wins from their last 11 in all competitions is evidence of their extreme momentum.
The Germans will take this first-leg.
