Will Wednesday's 4/1 double prove lucky?
Braga v Rangers - Europa League - 17:00
Though Braga blew a 2-0 lead at Ibrox to fall 3-2 against Rangers in their first-leg, I do believe the Portuguese side still win on the night at Braga Municipal Stadium – likely seeing them through to the next round.
Steven Gerrard’s men showed incredible fight last week to work their way back into the tie, but on the road they’ve just won one of their last four, and in Europe they’ve failed to beat Feyenoord, Porto, Young Boys, Legia Warsaw and Progres Niederkorn this campaign.
Only Porto and Benfica have a better home record than Braga in Portugal, and they’ve scored 12 goals in their five Europa League home games this season as well.
They may have suffocated last week, but I do believe they can take advantage of Rangers’ travelling woes to win the second-leg.
Blackburn v Stoke - Championship - 19:45
Blackburn Rovers are quietly enjoying a very impressive season, and they’re a good price to beat Stoke at Ewood Park.
The hosts have lost just one of their last 12 at home, and four wins from their last seven league games is a solid return which has seen them keep in touch with the play-offs.
Stoke, on the other hand, have been pretty wretched away from home – losing eight of their last 11, while conceding four goals on their last two trips (to QPR and Derby).
Blackburn’s solid home record should see them edge Stoke out to continue their momentum.
