Manchester United and Wolves feature in Thursday's Europa League double!
LASK Linz v Man Utd - 17:55
*SUBJECT TO COMPLETION*
Manchester United are finally hitting some ominous form, and I see evens as good value for them to beat LASK in front of their empty stadium.
LASK have been really impressive this term, and they’ve won every single game at home in this competition, but United have been so solid recently, and that’s why I’m confident they edge-out their Austrian counterparts.
The Red Devils have kept eight clean sheets in their last 10 games, and six clean sheets from their eight games in the Europa League will give them great confidence here.
I wouldn’t sleep on LASK, but United, in the form they are in, still look the value.
Olympiakos v Wolves - 20:00
*SUBJECT TO COMPLETION*
If Olympiakos v Wolves does go ahead, I’m going to back a home win/draw double chance.
This was a tough one, due to the lack of the famous Olympiakos home atmosphere, but Wolves’ away record still worries me.
Nuno’s men have won just four of their last 14 away games in all competitions, and they’ve only kept one clean sheet during this period.
Though Arsenal beat Olympiakos at their place, they are still a match for any top side in Europe in Athens (with or without their own fans), and considering Wolves’ dominance at Molineux in this competition, Nuno wouldn’t be too unhappy returning home with a draw.
