Julio Enciso made the surprise decision to head to Ipswich on loan, with the Paraguayan desperate for first-team football. The talented 21-year-old impressed in his brief cameo against Liverpool, getting an assist after just 11 minutes on the pitch. 

In his limited game time at Brighton this year, he is averaging 1.81 chances created per 90, averaging 0.38 assists and 1.71 chances created per 90 in an injury-ridden 2023/2024 season. His booking against Newcastle last weekend made it three yellows in his last four Premier League starts and was his seventh in 19 starts, averaging 1.58 fouls per 90. 

Fernandes is likely to be operating in similar areas to Enciso, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a flair-up between two passionate players.
