Under 9.5 Corners

These types of games between the league’s best teams often become cagey. The last six head to heads have seen an average of eight corners. Arsenal’s last 10 games in all competitions have seen an average of 8.6 per game whilst City’s have been 9.7.

City’s corner average does drop to 8.50 when you only include games where they come in as underdogs like they are today. It’s that angle which makes me like the under 10 corners around even money.

Over 3.5 Cards

Looking at the head to heads again we can see an average of five cards per game with 5/6 going over the 3.5 mark. The one game that didn’t clear that mark featured referee Anthony Taylor who is well known for being a more lenient referee.

Nunes Over 0.5 Fouls

With Kyle walker departing and City having an injury crisis, Matheus Nunes has had to fill in at right back. It’s clear it’s not his usual position with lots of vulnerabilities down that side.

Arsenal will want to target that area and the Brazilian looks nailed on to commit a foul – Something he’s done in 11 of his last 12 matches.
