A HT/FT bet on the hosts looks the best way to attack Saturday's live Bundesliga clash.
Hertha Berlin v Eintracht Frankfurt - Saturday 17:30, BT Sport 2
Hertha were denied a famous victory over Bayern last time out by Robert Lewandowski’s late equaliser, but they nonetheless remain in 6th, now just a point behind Eintracht. Niko Kovač’s side have dropped down from third after losing their last two, the latest of which was a 2-0 home defeat against lowly Ingolstadt.
Hertha have been excellent at home this term, winning eight of their 10 games and leading at the break in five of their last eight. Bayern are the only top-six side they’ve hosted to date, but they proved their results have been no fluke as they came so close to making it nine wins from 10 home games against Carlo Ancelotti’s league leaders and with that in mind Hertha look an excellent price at 2.1 to win.
Eintracht’s dip in form can largely be put down to selection issues as they currently have five centre-backs out injured, while defensive midfielder Mascarell is also suspended. They’ve lost and failed to score in three of their last four on the road, with two of those 3-0 defeats at Leverkusen and Leipzig as they trailed at the break in each of these losses. Hertha/Hertha Half-Time/Full-Time is our standout selection here.
