Ingolstadt v Monchengladbach- Sunday 14:30, BT Sport Europe

Ingolstadt picked up an impressive win at Eintracht Frankfurt last time out and while they remain down in 17th, they’re only two points from safety. Monchengladbach, meanwhile, had won three on the bounce prior to the visit of high-flying Leipzig, but they were beaten 2-1 and so drop down to 11th.

Ingolstadt have lost six of their 10 home games this term and whilst they’ve already hosted each of the current top-six, they’ve also been beaten by the likes of Freiburg and Augsburg. However, there have been signs of improvement as they’ve won two of their last four at Audi Sportpark, while Bayern are the only side that have prevented them from scoring in their last five there.

Monchengladbach picked up only one point from their first seven road games, but they’ve managed seven from their last three on their travels, two of which were at bottom-three sides as they drew 0-0 at Darmstadt and edged out Bremen 1-0. We expect a similarly cagey encounter here, as was the case when these two sides met last term and Ingolstadt won 1-0. So we’re backing Under 1.5 Goals at 2.88 in what looks a tricky game to call in terms of the outcome, as is reflected by the prices, with bookmakers struggling to split the pair.

Under 1.5 Goals - 1pt @ 2.88
