In-form Juve striker Gonzalo Higuain looks the bet in the anytime scorer market.
Porto v Juventus – Wednesday 19:45, BT Sport Europe
Two teams in red-hot form meet at Estadio do Dragao on Wednesday when Porto host Juventus. Porto have won six on the bounce in the Portuguese top flight and have only lost to Leicester so far this season in the Champions League, but the Juventus side they host have won seven straight domestic games and are seven points clear at the top of Serie A, so will be ready to take the fight to Porto.
Juventus have won all of their away games in the Champions League this year, and they’ve lost only once away from home in all competitions since the end of November, winning the last three of those games 2-0. Porto put five past Leicester at home in the group stages, but the six home games prior to that had all gone under 2.5 goals, and with Juventus looking so solid it’s very possible that we’ll see another low-scoring game here.
With both these teams performing excellently in domestic football, it’s hard to pick which way this way will go, but we think Gonzalo Higuain could well get on the scoresheet. Higuain has scored seven in Juve’s last five games on the road, so he’s a good bet to score anytime.
