Sevilla v Leicester – Wednesday 19:45, BT Sport 2

Leicester’s fall from grace this season continued over the weekend as they became the third top-tier side that Millwall has dumped out of the FA Cup this season, and they now face the prospect of Sevilla away in the Champions League before they host Liverpool at the weekend. Sevilla are unbeaten across all competitions in their last seven, and they will feel very confident of overcoming Ranieri’s struggling side.

Sevilla’s home record in the knockout stages of European competition is excellent. They’ve won nine of their last 10 such games, with five of those nine wins being to nil, and they’ve not been down at the half in any of their most recent five matches in that stretch. Nine of their last 11 across all competitions at home have had at least three goals, but with Leicester failing to get on the scoresheet in four of their five most recent away games we’ll avoid the match outcome markets.

Leicester have an appalling scoring record this season – they’re the third lowest scorers in the Premier League this term – and with Sevilla looking disciplined at home, we think they’ll overrun the Foxes. All four of Sevilla’s home wins in the Champions League since the start of last season have come to nil so we’ll back a Sevilla Win to Nil.
