Man City v Napoli - Tuesday 19:45, BT Sport 3

Man City have won their opening two games by an aggregate of 6-0 and have now won seven of 10 unbeaten Champions League home matches, keeping a clean sheet in five of the last eight. They’ve looked imperious this term and we’d have them closer to 1.5 here, especially after recording impressive victories over Barca and Monaco at the Etihad last season as well as a 4-0 drubbing of M’gladbach. They host a Napoli side that went down 2-1 at Shakhtar on matchday one and who have perhaps been flattered domestically by a pretty lenient fixture list so far in Serie A.

Man City - 1pt @ 13/20

Napoli are W4-D0-L4 since 2013/14 against Europe’s top-10 in games that have seen plenty of goals as they only failed to score in one, but also registered just the single clean sheet. Indeed, Napoli have lost despite scoring in each of their four defeats since the start of last term. With the likes of Mertens, Insigne, Callejon and Hamsik in their ranks they’ll certainly provide the City back-line with one of the tougher tests they’ve faced, but the Citizens have plenty of firepower themselves and with that in mind we’re backing a City win and both teams to score.

Man City & BTTS - 1pt @ 17/10

Two of Napoli’s last four fixtures in this competition have ended in 3-1 defeats, and that correct score certainly looks worth a punt here – three of City’s last nine Champions League wins have been by that score and with De Bruyne, Jesus and Sterling all in sparkling form, we can easily see them putting three past Napoli.
