Barcelona vs Olympiacos Form

Barcelona snapped a two-game losing streak in their last game as Ronald Araujo bagged a 93rd minute winner against Girona. Hansi Flick's lost 2-1 at home to PSG in Gameweek 2 of the Champions League.

Olympiacos also ended a two-game losing run in their previous game with a 2-0 win away at AE Larissa. The Greek side will be looking to record a famous victory over Barcelona on Tuesday and get their first win of the UCL campaign.

Both teams have scored in Barcelona's previous five matches and in eight of their 11 matches this season.

Barcelona vs Olympiacos Team News

Barcelona will be without Gavi, Marc-André ter Stegen, García, Ferran Torres, Dani Olmo, Robert Lewandowski, and Raphinha. Ronald Araújo came from the bench to score the winner in the last game and will push for a start at the heart of the defence. Raphinha is doubtful but may not feature as the main priority is for him to play against Real Madrid next Sunday. Roony Bardghji might have a chance to start if Flick decides to rest either Yamal or Rashford for next Sunday's El Clasico.

Olympiacos will be missing G. Strefezza and Rodinei through injury. Retsos had a solid return to action last time around and it wouldn't be a surprise if he started at the heart of the defence once again. With Rodinei injured, Costinha will likely step up to the Starting XI at the right-hand side of the defence. El Kaabi netted a brace last weekend and should be full of confidence leading the offensive line on Tuesday.

Barcelona vs Olympiacos Match Prediction

Barcelona are going through a rough patch, winning only one game in their last three across all competitions, with that victory coming last weekend against Girona during stoppage time. They will be looking to get back to winning ways here.

After a disappointing scoreless draw at home against Pafos, Olympiacos put on a show in London against Arsenal, but it wasn't enough to get any points from the Emirates Stadium. They will try to take advantage of Barcelona's numerous injuries to spring an upset here.

It is expected that Barcelona may already have one eye on El Clásico, but they cannot afford to radically rotate their starting eleven given the number of injury concerns. Therefore, they should maintain their core and could come away with the three points, albeit by a narrow margin of 1 or 2 goals.

Score Prediction: Barcelona 2-1 Olympiacos
