We've picked out a 10/1 win accumulator for the 3pm action across Saturday's EFL.
The EFL returns for another packed Saturday of action, and we have picked out four teams from across the Championship, League One and League Two for a 10/1 win accumulator.
Wolves and Middlesbrough make up the two Championship selections, while Leicester are backed to get their first League One victory of the season against Burton. Barnet complete the four-fold following an impressive start to their League Two campaign.
EFL accumulator tips: Wolves, Middlesbrough, Leicester and Barnet all to win at 10/1.
Preston vs Wolves: Wolves to win
Preston made a poor start to their Championship campaign, losing 2-1 to newly promoted Bolton after falling two goals behind inside the opening 25 minutes. That result continued a worrying defensive run for North End, who have now conceded at least twice in each of their last five Championship matches, stretching back to last season.
Wolves have shown considerably more promise going forward, scoring five goals across their opening two competitive matches. Cesar Peixoto's side cruised past Port Vale 3-0 in the Carabao Cup before drawing 2-2 with Blackburn in their Championship opener, despite enjoying the better of much of the first half at Molineux.
The recently relegated side are still waiting for their first league victory, but this looks a good opportunity to get it. Preston's defensive problems leave them vulnerable against a Wolves attack already carrying a threat, making the visitors the opening selection in our Saturday accumulator.
Blackburn vs Middlesbrough: Middlesbrough to win
Middlesbrough have made the ideal competitive start under Kim Hellberg, following a 1-0 Carabao Cup victory over Wrexham with a 2-1 comeback win against newly promoted Lincoln in their Championship opener. Summer signing Will Lankshear has scored all three of Boro's goals across those matches, including a second-half double against Lincoln.
There was a sizeable gap between these teams last season. Middlesbrough finished fifth with 80 points, eventually reaching the play-off final, while Blackburn ended the campaign 20th with 52. Boro also won 10 of their 23 Championship away matches, whereas Rovers managed only four league victories at Ewood Park all season.
Blackburn deserve credit for taking a point from Wolves on the opening weekend, but Middlesbrough represent another difficult assignment for a side that struggled badly on home soil last term. With Boro already finding ways to win and Lankshear making an immediate impact, the visitors are fancied to continue their perfect start at Ewood Park.
Leicester vs Burton: Leicester to win
Leicester were given an early reminder of the difficulty of League One when they were held to a 1-1 draw by newly promoted Notts County last weekend, but the King Power Stadium should provide a much better platform for Russell Martin's side. The Foxes have already won there this season, beating Northampton 1-0 in the Carabao Cup, and will be expected to challenge towards the top end of the division despite their summer rebuild.
Burton, meanwhile, finished 17th in League One last season and won only four of their 23 away matches, taking just 22 points on the road while conceding 32 goals. Gary Bowyer's side are also yet to win competitively this season, following a 2-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Blackburn with a 1-1 draw against Stevenage on the opening weekend.
Leicester may still be finding their feet under Martin, but they should have enough to secure their first League One win of the season on Saturday.
Shrewsbury vs Barnet: Barnet to win
Barnet are one of the early form sides worth following in League Two, having opened their campaign with an impressive 3-1 victory over Salford before thrashing Arsenal U21s 5-1 in the EFL Trophy in midweek. That league victory also extended an excellent run from the end of last season, with Dean Brennan's side now winning six consecutive League Two matches.
The Bees finished eighth last season and scored 70 league goals compared to Shrewsbury's 42, with only relegated Harrogate finding the net fewer times than Salop across the entire division.
Those attacking concerns were evident again when Shrewsbury opened the new league season with a 2-0 defeat at Tranmere. Barnet, meanwhile, have scored eight times across their last two matches in all competitions and carry considerably greater momentum into Saturday's trip to the Croud Meadow, making the visitors an appealing final leg of the accumulator.
