Alaves v Sevilla – Monday 19:45, Sky Sports 2

Sevilla stretched their unbeaten run across all competitions to six with their win over Bilbao on Thursday, which was their third straight win by a single-goal margin. They now make the long trip north to Alaves, who suffered a 2-1 defeat at Granada in the midweek round.

Sevilla’s away form has been increasingly strong as the season’s progressed. Their recent loss to Espanyol was the only time they’ve failed to win in their last five away games (having won only two of the seven prior to that), and they’ve won eight of their last 10 games against middle-third sides, keeping a clean sheet in the three most recent of these. Alaves have failed to score in half of their 12 home games this term, including recently against Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.

Sevilla have now conceded only one goal in their last five and we expect them to extend that impressive defensive record here against an Alaves side that are the 14th lowest scorers in the division. We’ll back anAway Win to Nil , particularly given Alaves have three players suspended this weekend.
