Notts County v Yeovil - Saturday 15:00

Notts County put daylight between themselves and the League Two drop zone with a big win at Leyton Orient last weekend but they aren’t out of the woods just yet and the suspension of influential centre back Richard Duffy could see them come a cropper against a Yeovil side performing much better than recent results would suggest. Back the away win at 9/4.

The Glovers have triumphed only once in their last 13 matches but seven of those games were draws - five of which they dominated the shot count - and a wretched 45 minutes at lowly Cheltenham last weekend might just be the watershed moment that was needed to arrest the slump. My 16-match ratings make Darren Way’s men clear favourites.

That obviously owes much to County’s dreadful form before Kevin Nolan’s arrival and 11 points from the last seven games points to a brighter future under the Liverpudlian but their progress hasn’t been linear and routine 2-0 defeats against Accrington and Grimsby in the midst of that run point towards value in the 16/1 available on the Yeovil 2-0 correct score here.

Duffy’s absence after picking up his tenth yellow card of the season at Brisbane Road, combined with a groin problem for Thierry Audel - the only other senior centre back at the club - could leave Nolan short of experience in a key area. If that proves to be the case, then the visitors have a clear incentive to be patient and ready to pounce on that vulnerability.

Yeovil to win - 1pt @ 9/4
Yeovil 2-0 correct score - 1pt @ 16/1
