Nice v Montpellier - Friday 19:45, BT Sport ESPN

After coming back from 2-0 down to rescue a point at Rennes, Nice got back to winning ways as they won 1-0 at bottom of the league Lorient to remain in 3rd, three points behind leaders Monaco. Montpellier made it two wins on the bounce as they came from behind to beat St Etienne 2-1 at home to move up to 11th.

Nice have been excellent at home all season, winning 10 of 13 unbeaten games. They’ve led at the break in eight of their last 10 at the Allianz Riviera and kept clean sheets in three of the last five. Balotelli is suspended for the hosts, but they’ve coped fairly well in his absence this term, winning six of 11 unbeaten games he’s failed to start, despite the fact that seven of these were on the road.

Montpellier have lost five of their last six on the road and trailed at the break in seven of their last eight away, making Nice look an excellent price to win at 2.0. Montpellier have been beaten 5-1 at Marseille, 6-2 at Monaco and 5-1 at Lyon in their trips to the top teams to date and so as well as backing Nice/Nice HT/FT, we’re going to have a punt on the hosts covering the -2 handicap at 8.5.

Nice/Nice HT/FT - 1pt @ 3.3
Nice -2 Handicap - 1pt @ 8.5
