Goals could be on the cards when Orlando City take on New York City on Sunday night.
Orlando City v New York City - Sunday 22:00, Sky Sports 2
New York City ended up in 4th in the regular season last term but were knocked out in the Conference Semi-Finals 7-0 over two legs by Toronto and so will be hoping to go a couple of steps better this time around. Orlando missed out on the playoffs by a single point, despite winning their last two games of the regular season, but they’ll hope that a new stadium this season will bring with it a change in fortune.
Orlando lost only four of their 17 home games last term and performed pretty well when the stronger sides came to visit as they were W3-D2-L2 at home to top-half sides. These games tended to produce goals as both teams scored in all seven, with six seeing more than two goals and four with more than three.
City’s games saw more goals than anyone else in the division last term, unsurprisingly with Pirlo pulling the strings and David Villa up front, so we’re backing Over 3.5 Goals here at 2.9. Six of City’s last nine away games saw more than three strikes and since they were W7-D3-L7 on their travels in the regular season, the prices look about right in the match outcome markets, so we’ll stick with ‘overs’ as our main bet.
