Man City have netted 16 goals across their last three as they’ve torn Liverpool, Watford and Palace to shreds, though they should face a much sterner defence in Antonio Conte’s champions. Following a 3-2 opening day loss to Burnley where they battled with nine men, Chelsea have since conceded just twice in five games, though they only managed a single clean sheet in 10 games against the top six last season – something Man City replicated themselves.
Given the form Guardiola’s side are displaying in front of goal at the minute, coupled with lingering questions over their backline, we think both teams to find the net is a banker.
Man City lost four of their six trips to top-seven sides last term, failing to keep a clean sheet in any of these games, whilst Chelsea won five out of six hosting such opposition as well as recording four points against Arsenal and Everton this term. Man City haven’t faced the most daunting fixture list to start the season, and following an impressive 4-0 win for Chelsea over Stoke there should be some value to be had in Chelsea draw no bet.
Five of Chelsea’s six victories against top-six sides since the start of last season have been despite conceding, which includes both games between these two last term. City were by far the better team in the first of those meetings but still lost 3-1 at the Etihad as Chelsea picked them off on the counter and they have the potential to do something similar here with the likes of Eden Hazard, Pedro and the in-form Alvaro Morata.
