This is certainly one of the tougher games to call in the Premier League this weekend.

Bournemouth, who are in the relegation zone but only on goal difference, will have to seriously buck their ideas up on the run-in as they’ve been awful this season, although for many years now, Eddie Howe’s men have found big results at the right times to keep themselves afloat.

This is the biggest crisis of their Premier League lives so far, however, and considering their form at The Vitality has kept them alive (the Cherries have lost nine of their last 10 away games), you have to feel the absence of fans will really hurt them for the rest of the season.

Palace still have an outside shot of European football, and under Roy Hodgson they’ve traditionally performed very well away from home, which will certainly serve them well when travelling to empty stadiums – it may even work in their favour.

In many cases, I’ve backed the away teams to win in the Premier League—following on from the blueprint left by the Bundesliga behind-closed-doors—but unlike many of these relegation-battling sides, I believe Bournemouth will respond well to the break.

Palace have only won two of their last five games against The Cherries, and while their solidity and pace up front will cause Bournemouth problems, I believe we’ll see a better, more clear-headed Bournemouth in the run-in.

A draw at 23/10 looks the play in this.
