Leicester To Win To Nil

Bournemouth will see their goalless draw with Spurs on Thursday as a missed opportunity in their rapidly worsening relegation battle.

Eddie Howe’s men were the better team, restricting Spurs to pretty much nothing while seeing a late disallowed goal themselves.

However, at this stage of the season that doesn’t matter – it’s all about results and Bournemouth are absolutely desperate for them.

Unfortunately, they come up against a Leicester side fighting hard for a Champions League place, and while they started slowly post-lockdown, I’m seeing signs that they’re turning back into their former selves.

Jamie Vardy has three goals in his last two games—his previous drought was a cause of concern for Brendan Rodgers—and their demolition of Crystal Palace, followed by a draw against in-form Arsenal, will please the Leicester boss.

While the Cherries were good against Spurs, Jose Mourinho’s men made them look much, much better than they actually are, and at quite a large 2/1, I’m backing the visitors to win to nil.

Bournemouth have fired blanks in three of their last five games (with the goal against Newcastle a stoppage-time consolation), while Leicester have the second-best defence in the league – conceding just 32 in their 34 matches.
