Football expert Ryan Elliott has one tip for Wolves' clash with Everton.
Half-Time Score: 0-0
Wolves suffered last-minute heartbreak against Sheffield United in their last outing, suddenly giving them a mountain to climb to secure Champions League football for next season – via the league at least.
As for Everton, they were held to a 1-1 draw against Southampton, and have generally been pretty steady since the restart. Not brilliant, not terrible, but steady.
Overall this looks like a pretty tough game to call.
However, I do like the look of the half-time score being goalless.
Since the restart, there’s been just one goal scored at either in end in the first half of Wolves’ matches, and this theme is likely to continue against an Everton side hardly packed with goals themselves.
Only one of Everton’s five post-lockdown games have seen over two goals all game, and against this solid Wolves side, a similar pattern may emerge.
This isn’t a match that’ll set the world alight, and Wolves sticking to form and playing out a goalless first half looks a likely outcome.
