Sheffield United

Leicester City’s utter capitulation against Bournemouth in their last outing wasn’t the mark of a side who desperate to acquire Champions League football next season, and things don’t get any easier for them as they prepare to welcome a Sheffield United side who have returned to their old selves – earning 10 points from their last four games.

The Foxes look bereft of ideas, confidence and, dare I say, quality, and I can’t see how they arrest this horror-slide they’ve found themselves on, which includes three defeats from their last five games in all competitions.

If we’re looking at form, momentum and mindset, Sheffield United to win at 16/5 looks like a huge price. Beating Spurs, Wolves and Chelsea within 10 days of each other is no mean feat, and while it took Chris Wilder a little time to get his side going again after the restart, they suddenly look very, very good once again.

And what can we say about Leicester? They were cruising against Bournemouth, before a catalogue of individual errors cost them three points and Caglar Soyuncu for the rest of the season; it was an absolute calamity.

Incredibly, the Blades go just two points behind Leicester if they win, and considering the direction both sides are heading, backing an away win at 16/5 looks mightily tempting.
