What a huge game this is for both sides, two of the top four spots are on the line and only two of Leicester, Manchester United and Chelsea are going to end in those places. The Foxes looked nailed on for a champions league spot at the halfway point of the season, but their alarming drop off has seen them slide down and it’s now out of their hands. They need to win here to guarantee a top four place, a draw would suffice for both sides if Wolves beat Chelsea.

If United avoid defeat they will be in the champions league next season, a terrific and timely turnaround from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side which has been supplemented by the mid-season signing of Bruno Fernandes, no doubt a big factor in their rise. They’ve not been as red hot of late though, slipping up as artificially short price favourites at home to Southampton and then struggling to defeat against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final.

To be fair to the Red Devils they have performed well against the better teams in the division this season but that was when they were big underdogs and could play on the break. I’m shocked they’re favourites to be honest with the draw being a real runner, particularly if Wolves are leading at Stamford Bridge. Let’s not forget Leicester having a very good home record with just three defeats at the King Power all season, two of which were against the top two. They do have injuries at the back with Ben Chilwell, Ricardo Periera and Caglar Soyuncu all out and that has weakened them admittedly. But again, I go back to the point their opponents don’t need to win, a draw would suffice.

As far as the betting goes I can’t be having a United side who don’t need to win going off as favourites. With the draw being a big runner here, especially with outside permutations which would be mutually beneficial to end in a stalemate I’ll take Leicester on the draw no bet market at 27/20. This gives us some greater insurance on side in case it ends all square with our stakes returned.
