Ipswich vs Bournemouth
Leg 1: Bournemouth to Win
Best odds of 20/21 while publishing.
Bournemouth are in a fascinating run of form, winning seven consecutive matches in all competitions, and they travel to Portman Road with a good deal of confidence after beating Manchester United in their last away game. Marco Rose's side have turned themselves into one of the more reliable travellers in the division, and Ipswich offer a far softer test.
Ipswich have won none of their last three games and haven't kept a clean sheet in 12 matches, a defensive record that gives Bournemouth's attackers plenty to work with. Over 2.5 goals has hit in five of Ipswich's last seven and four of Bournemouth's last five, and neither side has kept a clean sheet in the last six head-to-head meetings, with over 2.5 goals landing in four of those five games. Goals are likely, and Bournemouth's form should make them the team to take the points.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
Leg 2: Liverpool to Win
Best odds of 8/13 while publishing.
Liverpool are on a run of three consecutive away wins, beating Brentford, Bournemouth and Ipswich, and their away record this season is second only to Arsenal's. They face a Crystal Palace side who are really struggling for form, with the worst home record in the division, three straight Premier League defeats and just one win in their last six games in all competitions.
Palace's 5-0 hammering at Brighton last month showed how exposed they can be against sides who press and move the ball quickly, and Liverpool have won three of their last five trips to Selhurst Park. This should be a closely contested game given the occasion, but Liverpool's quality and current away form should be enough to see off a team short on confidence.
Brighton vs Brentford
Leg 3: Brighton to Win
Best odds of 10/11 while publishing.
Brighton have won five and lost just once in their last six Premier League matches, and they arrive full of belief after beating Manchester City away from home and following it up with midweek European success against Getafe. With 19 points from nine games, a win here would lift them above City and into second place.
Brentford ended a run of four winless games with a much-needed win over Nottingham Forest, but they're still struggling to win on the road. Their four away league games have all ended in draws, so they've not been beaten, but they've not been winning either, and Brighton's pressing and home form should prove too strong. Brentford haven't kept a clean sheet in their last three meetings with Brighton, who have won two of the last three head-to-head games and three of the last four against Brentford at the Amex.
Sunderland vs Chelsea
Leg 4: Chelsea to Win and Both Teams To Score
Best odds of 11/4 while publishing.
Sunderland haven't kept a clean sheet in three games and have managed just one in their last nine in all competitions, while Chelsea are in fine attacking form this season, scoring freely even with Joao Pedro in the side. Chelsea have beaten Manchester United in their last game and won 2-0 at Everton on their most recent away trip.
Chelsea have found the Stadium of Light a difficult place to visit in recent years, and neither side has kept a clean sheet in their last three meetings, with both teams scoring in six of the last seven head-to-head games and over 2.5 goals clearing in the same stretch. Sunderland's form is poor right now though, and their home record is ranked 19th in the table, with only Crystal Palace picking up fewer points on their own ground. A Chelsea win with Sunderland nicking a goal looks the most likely outcome and the price rewards that.
