Back Aberdeen to win with something to spare at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon.
Kilmarnock v Aberdeen - Sunday 13:00, Sky Sports 1
Kilmarnock drew for the fifth time in eight games against Dundee and while they currently sit in 6th, they’re only four points ahead of Hamilton in 11th. Aberdeen climbed back up to 2nd after they thumped Motherwell 7-2 at home as they battle it out with Rangers for the runners-up spot behind runaway leaders Celtic.
Kilmarnock have generally proven tough to beat at home as they’ve lost only three of their last 10 at Rugby Park, but two of those came against Celtic and Aberdeen themselves in a 4-0 thumping. Indeed, they were also beaten 4-0 by Aberdeen in this fixture last term, their fifth defeat in a row when hosting Aberdeen since 2013/14, during which time they’ve scored only one goal.
Aberdeen have lost three of their last five on the road but their general form has been getting better and better and they’ve won five of their seven trips to teams between 4th and 10th, with three of these victories by more than one goal. They’ve kept only one clean sheet in their last eight on the road, which puts us off the win to nil so instead we’re going to back the visitors to continue their fine scoring form and cover the -1 handicap.
