We are siding with three travelling sides for this weekend's Scottish acca.
Hearts v Aberdeen – Saturday 15:00
Hearts aren’t in the best of form ahead of the visit of high-flying Aberdeen, as they’ve only beaten bottom-of-the-league Partick Thistle in their last six, while losing without scoring in both their encounters with top-four sides during this recent period. Excluding results against their fellow top-four sides, the visitors have been mightily impressive as they’ve racked up 10 wins from 12 unbeaten games since late November, keeping a clean sheet in eight of these. Hearts have failed to score in seven of their last 10 against the top four, while they’ve only managed the single strike in six encounters with Aberdeen since the start of last season. An away win to nil offers decent value, but at the prices they’re worth investing in for the straight win.
Partick Thistle v Kilmarnock – Saturday 15:00
Partick have lost six of seven winless games as they failed to find the net in the last four of these, while they also conceded at least twice in each of the defeats. They’ve sunk to the bottom of the standings with their -30 goal difference sticking out like a sore thumb, and a Killie side that have found some form of late will be seeking to take advantage. Indeed, the visitors have won seven of nine unbeaten games, including victories over both members of the Old Firm, while excluding the sides above them Killie have now won 10 of 13 unbeaten outings. With that in mind, we’d have them at odds-on to win and so they look a great price, especially as Partick have lost eight of 11 winless matches facing sides between 3rd and 6th this term.
Ross County v Hibernian – Saturday 15:00
Ross County secured just their second win in 19 games last time out, but it came over basement dwellers Partick Thistle, while the other came at another bottom-three side in the shape of Dundee. Hibs have been in excellent form with six wins from eight unbeaten games, and while the last two came at home to bottom-four sides, they’ve also beaten the likes of Aberdeen and Rangers during this period as they’ve proven to be no flat track bullies. Their form has been steadily improving despite all season and with that in mind Hibs are the value bet at around evens.
