Sassuolo picked up their fourth win in six as they won 2-1 at Udinese and so have moved all the way up from 16th to 12th, though still some way off the 6th place finish they managed last term. Milan, meanwhile have bounced back from three straight defeats by picking up seven points from their last three and so they’re back up to 7th.
While they’ve won their last three on the road, Sassuolo have struggled at home in recent times. They won their first four at the Mapei Stadium but since then they’ve won only two of their eight at home, with both these against bottom-four sides. Indeed, they’ve won all six of their home games against bottom-eight opposition, but they’re just W0-D1-L5 against the rest of the division, scoring only two goals in these.
Romagnoli and Bonaventura are once again out for Milan, but they’ve fared pretty well without them in recent weeks and they’ve won five of their last 11 on the road. Indeed, they’re W5-D2-L2 at sides below them in the division this term and they look a decent price to win at 2.55, particularly given Sassuolo’s poor home form.
