Sociedad got back to winning ways with a 1-0 win at Las Palmas after they were beaten by Villarreal and so they stay in 5th. Eibar are just six points behind them in 7th after their fourth win in five games, easing past Malaga 3-0.
The defeat against Villarreal was only Sociedad’s third at home this term and they’ve won seven of their last 10 at the Anoeta Stadium.
