Two tips for today's greyhound racing.

This looks like a case of “who leads wins” down the centre of the track. Both trap three and trap four pace up well and like to lead, and whoever wins that battle should take the prize money. BALLYMAC DRESS (best price 11-8) has been very consistent since returning to action in mid-February, and the bitch’s overall times have improved with every race. That’s enough to persuade me she’ll get the better of Thekeanestprice in the early stages and go on to win. I wouldn’t put anyone off the T4 – T1 forecast with Spot On Dock more often than not running on well to take Second prize, and can do so again once Ballymac Dress has broken the heart of the other contender to lead.

Not too much to say about this one – cracks out the boxes and leads all the way. There has already been money for BALLYDORGAN DES (best price 2-1) this morning, into 13/8 or shorter with most bookies. That’s not a bad price and would still be good enough to tempt me in, but the 2/1 still available is one of the bets of the week. The Kevin Hutton trained dog should get plenty of room with the dog inside it moving towards the rails, and that only helps reassure me that he’ll make light work of this lot.
