We have one standout runner at Cheltenham on Friday though, where stable star Cole Harden faces seven rivals in the Grade 2 Relkeel Hurdle at 3.05.
I think Cole is in better form than he was this time last year and although, as at Newbury, conditions are clearly not going to be ideal, I will be surprised if he doesn’t run very well, win or lose. The fact that this is two and a half miles means we aren’t dragging his stamina out and we all know he loves this track.

Whisper is an obvious danger on official ratings but, in what looks quite an open race, I also think Top Notch is a big threat. He is a very progressive young horse and, if he improves for the step up in trip, he’s the one I’m most worried about.
Whatever happens, this will be Cole's last run before we start getting him ready for his main target of the season, the World Hurdle at the Festival in March.
From everybody at Uplands, have a great 2016 and best of luck whatever you back!
