Andy Holding has three tips from around the tracks on Sunday afternoon.
SUPREME VINNIE (NAP) (best price 6/5)
shaped with plenty of encouragement in a red-hot handicap at Punchestown in midweek and this looks a great opportunity for the son of Vinnie Row to finally get off the mark over hurdles. Staying on powerfully to snatch fifth in that strongly-run affair won by the well-ridden Bamako Moriviere represents useful form for this time of the year, and even though this won’t be a complete walk in the park up against Dove Mountain, who ran with a good deal of promise on his hurdling debut, his overall experience and services of the useful conditional Rachael Blackmore just tip the balance in his favour.

PETTOCHSIDE (best price 11/4)
arrives here right on top of his game at the moment and is fancied to supplement his victory over the course at the last meeting. Showing blistering speed from the outset, John Bridger’s charge had most of his rivals on the ropes by halfway and keeping on strongly in the latter stages, he maintained his decent advantage all the way to the line. Although all his best form has come over six furlongs, his speed figures and the way he races suggests he shouldn’t have too many problems coping with the drop back in trip and with his recent figures at today’s track reading 1121, hopes are high the Refuse To Bend gelding can keep those smart stats intact.

APPROCAILLIS (best price 6/1)
did well in the circumstances to finish as close as he did last time out and he’s worth another chance to prove there’s plenty of mileage left in him off his current mark of 67. Well supported to back up his previous success on the all-weather at Dundalk, Michael O’Callaghan’s inmate found himself with fresh air behind him as the field swung for home, but finishing strongly inside the final two furlongs, he managed to salvage something from the wreckage with a podium finish. As the runners often get racing a long way out here at today’s track, the way the race will pan should play into his strengths and the son of New Approach rates a decent each-way bet at his top morning odds.
