FAST BUCK only found leading Cheltenham Festival fancy Fakir D'Oudairies too good on his hurdles debut at Cork and normal improvement will make him a tough nut to crack. Momus and All For Joy have similar profiles in that they continue to run well in defeat and both are almost certain to be in the shake-up, while Castle Oliver might appreciate dropping back half a mile.
Prediction : 1st Fast Buck 2nd Momus 3rd All For Joy

Lignou certainly hasn't been disgraced on his last couple of starts and potentially looks a fair bit better than this mark of 117, but CORAL BLUE is the safer option right now. Seamus Fahey's gelding lost little in defeat when a nose second on his handicap debut over C&D and he receives 21lb (with Eric Roche's claim taken into consideration) from Lignou, his main danger. Colour Me In also has some form which gives her a chance.
Prediction : 1st Coral Blue 2nd Lignou 3rd Colour Me In

BEYOND THE LAW gets a tentative vote in what looks a fiercely competitive event. The form of his last-start second in a Fairyhouse beginners chase took a nice boost when the winner followed up on Thursday, and he makes his handicap debut off a fair mark. Poker Party ran out a comfortable winner over C&D last month and is a player off 9lb higher, while Impact Factor, Kildorrery and Uisce Beatha are just a few more with claims.
Prediction : 1st Beyond The Law 2nd Poker Party 3rd Impact Factor

Gordon Elliott has won two of the last three runnings of this contest and appears to have another strong hand with Milan Native, who made a successful debut over hurdles at Navan last week, and CHOSEN MATE. The latter gets the vote having impressed at Fairyhouse before just being edged out in Listed company at Punchestown. Open to great improvement, he is sure to be in the firing line again. The 136-rated Jetez disappointed in handicap company last time but has to be respected on the form of his Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle second before that.
Prediction : 1st Chosen Mate 2nd Jetez 3rd Milan Native

This looks to be a nice opening for CADMIUM, who was fourth in a competitive handicap at Leopardstown and should be better suited to the return to Graded company. The seven-year-old was previously fourth in the Drinmore at Fairyhouse behind the likes of Delta Work and Le Richebourg, and can pay a further handsome compliment to that form despite the drop back to 2m. Doctor Phoenix might prefer softer ground these days, but is preferred to Avenir D'Une Vie and Tycoon Prince for second.
Prediction : 1st Cadmium 2nd Doctor Phoenix 3rd Avenir DUne Vie

The form of CURIOUS TIMES' Down Royal victory is strong, with the runner-up bolting up at Fairyhouse next time out, and it will be interesting to see what the six-year-old can bring to the table back in handicap company and on ground which should suit. Wait Here made the podium off this rating last time and was a handy second at Tipperary before that, while Gavin Cromwell's Ming Dynasty and Ejayteekay could also get involved.
Prediction : 1st Curious Times 2nd Wait Here 3rd Ming Dynasty

MON LINO was involved at the business end of a competitive handicap hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival, finishing fourth off a mark of 127. He reverts to fences in much easier company off a 15lb lower figure and is entitled to play a leading part if in the same form. Kayf Thou has been running well and is a must for the shortlist, while King's Song ran a stormer at 100/1 over the Punchestown banks but needs to reproduce that form over regulation fences.
Prediction : 1st Mon Lino 2nd Kayf Thou 3rd Kings Song

MIDNIGHT RUN appears the pick of the Gigginstown duo and could take all the beating if repeating the form of his second to leading Champion Bumper candidate Envoi Allen in a Navan Listed contest in December. Column Of Fire switches back to bumpers having been a beaten favourite twice over hurdles and this might just be the confidence-boosting run needed before another try at obstacles. His stablemate Easywork has the assistance of Jamie Codd and is worth a market check.
Prediction : 1st Midnight Run 2nd Column Of Fire 3rd Easywork
