Love Lane's hat-trick bid came up short at Exeter but she still produced a career-best performance in third. Lostnfound has finished second on her last two hurdles starts, and the returning Miss Tynte is a danger if fully fit.

Sky Full Of Stars has been mixing it over hurdles and fences and while he was below par over the smaller obstacles at Taunton, he had won his previous two outings and could bounce back. Le Coeur Net is also on a retrieval mission after letting down favourite-backers at this circuit but another chance is given to ARGYLE, who was holding his form well in defeat prior to getting rid of an amateur jockey at Sandown and is 4lb lower for his return to chasing.

Not the most inspiring race so SHAPIRO might be able to defy her lengthy absence. Anthony Honeyball's six-year-old ran well enough in four bumpers, including when chasing home a subsequent Listed runner-up at Uttoxeter, and is preferred to Smart Getaway, who returned from her own spell on the sidelines to take third at Plumpton, although she was beaten a long way. Scarlet Couture has taken on some decent opposition so far and looks the pick of the remainder.

Corinto improved for the step up in trip to record an emphatic success over Market Rasen's 2m7f and the while the assessor has taken no chances in raising him 11lb, Olly Murphy's gelding has plenty of scope for further improvement. Flashjack has performed with credit on all three outings this campaign but appears in the handicapper's grip, whereas VIVE LE ROI has slipped slightly for struggling in much more competitive events and he will appreciate testing conditions more than Corinto.

Canyouhearmenow may have to run from out of the handicap but he is still only 2lb higher than when landing this contest 12 months ago. This year's efforts have been dreadful, though, and ROYALS AND REBELS has also been a bit hit-and-miss, but the Charlie Mann-trained nine-year-old does have winning C&D form and his third at Hereford on his penultimate appearance came off a 2lb higher figure. Hepburn's Lingfield second is the best recent form on offer but she remains a maiden after 15 attempts.

FLAMINGER was disappointing on his first start after arriving from France, but he left that a long way behind him when beating all bar Christopher Wood at this venue, and the winner is a very good juvenile who followed up with the minimum of fuss at Newbury. It will be disappointing if Gary Moore's charge can't see off this lot, with the former Moore inmate Cilaos Glace the one who could chase him home, as long as he produces the form that carried him into fourth at Chepstow, rather than his two subsequent failures. Solar Glory may be the one for third on his first appearance since wind surgery.

Special Acceptance was in the process of making a satisfactory handicap debut when parting company with Max Kendrick at Sandown, and his bumper and maiden form suggests that a mark of 115 should be within range. There is still a slight stamina question mark over him, though, whereas HIER ENCORE is a proven C&D winner who goes particularly well here, and for Harry Teal, and was only beaten a couple of lengths off this rating last time. West Drive has taken on some good opposition since his successful jumping bow, and remains nicely treated compared to his Flat figure.
