LADY LONGSHOT arrives here on the back of two victories when last seen back in June and she should take plenty of beating today if ready to go after a 272-day break. If the selection were to need the run then Belmont Jewel could be the main beneficiary based on her narrow defeat at Huntington earlier in the month. Others to consider are Hiupinthesky, Lee Side Lady and Princess Midnight.

The two that stand out are clearly Jenkins and SECRET INVESTOR, who are closely matched according to official ratings. The latter gets the nod having been highly tried in recent starts and he will find this a lot easier than the Grade 2 that he contested last time out. Jenkins has not been disgraced in recent appearances but he may struggle to give 6lb to the selection, while Sleep Easy is the pick of the remainder.

NIGHTFLY has struggled in recent starts in Graded/Listed company but she has some good form in handicaps from earlier in the season and arrives here just 5lb higher in the ratings than when winning at Wetherby in November. Mine's A Pint got off the mark over a similar trip at Plumpton last time out and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Deauville Dancer and Opening Batsman.

FINDUSATGORCOMBE gained reward for his recent consistency when returning to winning ways here earlier in the month and a 6lb rise appears to be fair for Jimmy Frost's gelding with the contest lacking any kind of depth. Lizzie Langton was disappointing when third to the selection last time but could get closer with a pull at the weights, while a move back up in trip could see Gamain take a step forward.

MIRANDA has adapted well to hurdling since joining Paul Nicholls and continued her unbeaten record when making it two wins on the bounce over C&D earlier in the month. Not So Sleepy improved on his fourth to Precious Cargo at Kempton to score here last time when appearing to benefit from making the running and similar tactics could see him to best effect once again, while Commanche Red can improve dropping back in distance.

STORM ARISING has been brought along steadily over timber and won in good fashion by six lengths at the track earlier in the month. On that evidence, a penalty isn't likely to prove enough to stop him on this occasion. Chef D'Equipe returns to hurdles after switching back to fences here on his latest outing and looks the most solid threat on paper, while Hey Bud rates best of the remainder on his recent placed efforts.
