SET LIST shaped with promise for much of the way on his first appearance for 10 months at Fakenham a fortnight ago and the veteran looks fairly handicapped on the best of his old form when trained by Emma Lavelle. 9lb below his last winning mark, he can account for Roc D'Apsis, who represents last year's winning connections, and Cut The Corner, who should appreciate these calmer shores after finishing last at Doncaster in a better race four weeks ago.

NOTWHATIAM failed to fire in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last time out but his previous form is very strong and he could be hard to beat in this contest. The Welsh Paddies has to be respected following his Huntingdon victory last month, especially as a 6lb rise for that victory appears to be very fair. Others to note are Boreham Bill and Graasten.

LITTLE RICH put in a promising display at Fontwell last time out and that performance suggests that he could make a winning handicap debut off a mark of 100. Aquarian won at Huntingdon back in November and he would have a big chance if reproducing that form today. The shortlist is completed by Blue Rhythm, Can You Believe It and Cotton Club.

KEEP MOVING lost little in defeat when second over the extended 2m3f at Chepstow last time and is expected to remain competitive following a 1lb rise. The pick of the remainder may be Jarlath, who drops back from 3m after finishing a creditable third at Kempton.

HURRICANE HARVEY was touched off by a neck over a similar trip at Southwell earlier in the month and sets the form standard on that effort. Millers Bank has performed with credit on both starts at Lingfield and is unlikely to be far away at the finish. Any money for Peter Bowen's newcomer Effretais would be notable, while Alph could figure if reproducing the form he showed when second on debut at Ludlow in May.
